Updated: 4 October 2026. Cookies are small records stored in a browser. Similar technologies can store preferences, recognise a browser or measure interactions. Their privacy implications depend on what they do, not simply on whether they are called cookies. This notice should be read with our privacy notice.
Necessary functions
Technical storage may be used for security, consent choices and functions you explicitly request. Such storage is not used as a reason to enable optional advertising or analytics. WordPress can offer a separate option to remember comment details in your browser; this is different from publishing a comment.
Audience measurement
Google Analytics helps us understand use of the site. Optional analytics storage is subject to consent where required. The information can concern pages visited, interactions, device details and online identifiers. See Google’s cookie information and our privacy notice for the purpose and provider.
Advertising technologies
HB Agency supplies advertising on Romaniv. Google AdSense may also supply ads when enabled. Their partners may request access to device storage or process identifiers for advertising and measurement. Personalised advertising requires the relevant consent where applicable. Refusing personalisation is not necessarily the same as refusing every optional advertising purpose; review the purposes and vendors in the consent message.
Consent tools and controls
Consent messages associated with Google AdSense and cookie controls provided through Complianz have different configuration options. What matters is the choice recorded for each active service. The consent interface shown on your visit identifies the purposes and vendors for that configuration. Installing an extension alone does not establish that all third-party scripts are controlled.
You can refuse optional purposes, review the choices offered and change your decision through the available privacy or cookie settings. If the controls are unavailable or do not work, contact support@romaniv.online so we can investigate. Consent withdrawal applies to future consent-dependent processing; it does not automatically erase records already lawfully processed. A data-erasure request can be made separately.
Cookie durations and browser settings
Some storage expires when a session ends; other records persist for a stated period or until removed. Duration varies by cookie, provider and configuration. Our six-month policy for comments and contact messages is not the lifetime of every cookie. Use the current consent details and provider information for the relevant service, rather than treating a fixed generic list as a live audit of your browser.
Your browser lets you inspect and delete cookies and restrict third-party storage. Clearing cookies may remove saved preferences and cause a consent message to appear again. Blocking necessary storage can affect requested functions. Changing browser settings alone may not communicate a withdrawal to every provider.
External links and future media
A normal link to a social platform is different from an embedded player that connects to that platform while you browse Romaniv. We do not currently embed videos. If optional third-party media is introduced, its data handling and consent requirements must be reflected in the site’s controls and notices. Questions can be sent to contact@romaniv.online.
